Subject: Vincenza speaks very well because of her experience in pageantry, but her body is far from Miss USA material and her face with out a lot of make up is not the prettiest. I have been to the Miss DE USA pageant 4 times and was surprised every time, not because my niece Adrienne didn't win but I was just suprised at who the judges chose as the winner. My family is not a 'pageant family' but we support Adrfienne in ALL her endevours. Our family was impressed by Vincena and felt that had she won she would have represented DE well. We wish the best for Adrienne, Vincenza and all the other contestants and hope that everyone enjoys their Miss DE Usa weekend!

Adrienne is beautiful as well But she is the same height as Nicole. When you say that you are surprised by the winners, does that mean you don't think they are the best. If you felt Vincenza would have represented DE well, are you implying you don't think Nicole has done a good job? I certainly think Nicole has done a wonderful job and has made numerous appearances and volunteered a lot. Her gallery is filled with more appearances than I remember seeing the last 4 years. I think that the "first timers" that were chosen, such as Nicole, Erika and Ashley have a genuine, sweet personality vs. Vincenza and Adrienne who have done many pageants and come off "rehearsed" at times. Not to say they aren't genuine, but this can happen to girls who have competed many times before. Good luck to both of them but I feel that the winners were chosen for the right reasons and aside from the fact that they are shorter, they did a great job as Miss Delaware USA 06 and 07!

When I say I am suprised by the winners I mean that I have an idea in mind as to how the top 5 will place and I haven't gotten it right yet LOL. Even tonight I got the order wrong...there were so many beautiful girls and I didn't even pick the same top 5 as the judges. I admire all the girls who enter the competition. Not only did she hold her own against many former Miss USA girls, she shined. Her evening gown moment made the crowd go "wow'.
