Subject: Connecting rod bearings replaced
In reply to: Ken Wang 's message, "Oil pump and connecting rod bearings replaced" on 18:17:42 04/20/03 Sun

I received a letter from BMW informing me to replace the connecting rod bearings in my 2002 M3, so I called the BMW Beverly Hills, CA dearlership for the service, they fixed it in 2 days. I actually had no problem with my M3 after the first service action in 2003, it ran fast and smooth, so I was pleased to see that BMW is taking proactive steps in order take care of this batch of BMW M3 engines which were manufacutured between 2000-2003.
