I'm not a fan of the published STV books, but have to admit that I've started the new book 'Homecoming' which follows on from 'Endgame'....having read the first chapter or so, Seven turns down Chakotay's invite to the homecoming celebrations, but attends with the doctor, thereby upsetting Chakotay. She's surrounded as soon as she walks in the room and is 'rescued' by Janeway who sidles over & protectively puts an arm around her, fending the hoards off, THEN Seven tells Chakotay to bog off and she doesn't want a relationship with him! Fantastic.
I don't really want to read any more because I'm sure it won't continue in this vein, but I'm enjoying this subtext enormously & just wanted to share!
