Everything you say is true. Only I am not clear about their motivation. It may well be that Anti-Israel is simply a part of 'Liberal' culture. There is also some kind of orthodoxy that believes that since all people are inherently good, it is up to them to enlighten others about the 'goodness' that others don't see in Hamas and company.

To influence change, it is important to really determine which motivations are dominant and work toward mitigating their misinformation or bases for the motivations. As long as people operate on a mistaken premise, all that stands on it is faulty. We must help them to see that their premises are incorrect. Then change can be self induced.

Don't ask me how we do that, though.
