Dear Sir/Madam:

I recently received information that Deborah Lipstadt, Holocaust scholar at Emory University, was going to appear on C-Span promoting her new book, History on Trial: My Day in Court with David Irving. However, it appears that C-Span feels the need to put a recent speech by David Irving on as well.

I am horrified at this latest attempt to be "politically correct" which is just another way of sanctioning anti-semitism and "holocaust deniers." I am certain that if someone came out of the woodwork and proclaimed that there was no slavery in the United States at any time, and that it was a big lie eminating from the African American community, that you would not give time to such outrageousness.

Isn't it enough that Mrs. Lipstadt spent six years fighting David Irving and winning? What if this were not 2005 but 1947. Would you have the audacity to engage in such behavior?

Before I close I feel the need to enlighten you about the world we now live in. 24 hours a day/seven days a week in most Arab countries---the media broadcasts Holocaust denying information (falsely), anti-semitism and anti-Americanism.

You may feel that as people in the journalism field, you need to present all sides. If Adolf Hitler had lived and surely would have denied the Holocaust--would you have given him airtime also?
