RE: Why is Ralphs supporting extremist anti-Israel KPFK Radio?

I am a regular shopper at Ralphs, but I recently noticed that Ralphs is supporting radio station KPFK, a radio station with an extremist anti-Israel agenda spearheaded by its propaganda program "Radio Intifada". Why?

The very name Intifada (suggesting support of terrorism - shooting massacres, suicide bombings, intentional targeting of Israeli civilians with rockets, etc.) is an indication of the inappropriate message of this station. KPFK is spreading anti-Israel Hamas propaganda in Southern California. KPFK is also actively promoting anti-Israel demonstrations in the area.

While Hamas has committed thousands of blatant war crimes in launching rockets and firing mortars intentionally targeting Israeli civilians, KPFK has aggressively promoted the hideously offensive notion that legitimate Israeli acts of self-defense against these acts of terrorism are somehow "war crimes". As an example take a look at this page on the KPFK website promoting discussion of Israeli "violations of international law". Note that there is no participant representing the Israeli side.

Why is Ralphs supporting this active and extremist anti-Israel and anti-semitic radio station?

In fact two Ralphs stores, Woodland Hills and Studio City, are listed on the KPFK website as donors of food to KPFK.

At a time when the US is fighting a similar war against Al Qaeda in Pakistan and Afghanistan with the attendant unfortunate civilian casualties, we have no right to be criticizing Israel for defending its people in the same way. In fact, Israel has shown exemplary care to minimize civilian casualties.

I do not think Ralphs should be supporting this kind of propaganda against a staunch US ally and I do not want any of my hard-earned wages spent at Ralphs being used for that purpose.

I will not shop at Ralphs again until Ralphs withdraws its name and its food support (and any other support) for the anti-Israel fanatics at KPFK, and assures me this will not happen again. And I will do everything I can to persuade my fellow friends of Israel to do the same.

I look forward to your prompt response to this matter.
