All your points are well taken Mike. Which is where I keep going back and forth. The boat will be primarily used for day sailing and weekending for a family of four. For sailing I don't like the lack of backrests in the cockpit but when at anchor the lounging space will be great. I'll probably keep it the way it is but I find it good to think about the possibilities before committing myself.
