Subject: Look for screws AND ring nails
In reply to: Steve Cox 's message, "Cabin top removal" on - Thursday - 07/13/06 - 3:47pm

We had a tough time removing the cabin sides because both wood screws AND ring nails were used as fasteners.

Specifically there were ring nails holding the cabin top edges down. Some nails go into the support, some into the edge of the cabin side ply. So, just a note to go slow as it can be tricky to dissasemble w/out doing damage to other good wood.
