Hi Guys,
Just removed the engine from Sea Voyager M40, will be installing a new or remanufactured one in the spring. I was wondering if anyone new what happened to all the records and construction drawings from the company? It would be nice if I could get copies for Sea Voyager. It be nice to know who first bought the boat, drawings for restoration and schematics for wirering and plumbing. I know this is a fantasy but thought I would ask just in case these records could be obtained some how.
Thanks
Terry

Bill has posted to the MOA website everthing we've got on record. I don't think any one knows what happened to the boat construction details and drawings. I certainly agree with you ... it would be nice.

I guess there is some chance that a little old lady will, someday, find a load of drawings in her attic next to Melville's long lost sequal to Moby Dick, but until then we're stuck.

Therefore good sir, and given the paucity of reliable records, it is your DUTY to record for posterity what you are doing so that those who come after don't have to spend quite so much time scratching their heads. :)

Thanks Randall,
I guess I'm SOL on this request... I'm surprised with the history of the site that know one knows what happened to the records of the company. I would think they would be archived somewhere or the family of Clair or former workers would know. I hope and pray it all didn't end up in a shredder or the dump, what a treasure it would be if they could be found and preserved.
