Randall thanks i have never had this boat in the water so unshore of how it performs under power ? Going to be doing a refit over the summer next year as part of that pulling the engine. The boat has not seen water in some 15 year .My info came from the folding prop company. My plan was ONLY a engine rebiuld check the trans new shaft seal etc and a nice new prop (folding ) Must say the spec's from the prop outfit did shock me ie: no more than 3.5 knots in a bad sea, engine temp with a 12x6 prop and so on ! So hence my posting ..Nice to know a 12x6 3 blade folding prop will do just fine ..I feel some what at ease now thank you .Didn't really plan to spend some $2.000 more on a trans! .
must say you guy's and this great site are a god send .Bill has been a great help also.

Sterling ..
