Hold on, Sterling. Just so we're clear, my post above refers to my current prop, which is 12x6 but is NOT a folding prop. I don't know anything about folding prop performance, so don't take my remarks as a green light for a 12x6 folder.

Still, I'd get a second opinion. Sounds like your prop guys are selling you a load of whoowe.

But I rarely need that much. Under normal conditions, I motor at about 1/2 to 2/3rds thottle.

My RPM guage is very old and (honelsty) hasn't worked in about a year ... so these numbers are from memory...

Hi Randall thanks for that.. going to replace all engine guages in the refit the old stuff looks just fine (RPM,Oil,Temp,Amp,) all on one very nice panel in the cookpit ..Your welcome to it when removed if you like. Will ship it to you in the spring when i return from the BVI's ..Changing the hole thing around fitting a teak hatch over the cockpit well to make the aft deck flush . A locker for my liferaft did this to my last boat worked very nicely . With the flush full aft deck of the M32 will be extra sharp I think.

Thanks Sterling, but I'm going to replace mine w/new after a bit as well. No need to send. The job is low, low on the list as I've found that the water temp guage (which works) is the only one I need regularly.
