Hey, much obliged, Kathy!

Jo just bought a sewing machine, so am tempted to give this a crack this winter. Can I assume the sail is paneled somewhat like the storm jib?

I've used the storm jib several times now as a substitue Mule. Though not as powerful as the mizzen staysail, it's much more versitile, easier to handle (once aloft), and provides just enough additional oomph to keep us going in the light stuff of the many wind shadows behind our hills. Besides, it looks cool!

Thanks again,

RR

Murre crew, Sew your own mule sail if you have a sewing machine that'll do heavy material. I'm going to make a mizzen mainsail but first need a zigzag machine. Sure would like to bring our mule up there to let you try it before you make one. Yours truly, Kathy
