Subject: Looking for my Grandfather's old M40

Hello Everyone!!

My name is Emily, and i've been trying to research my grandfather's old M40. I've tried using the USCG website to search the name ("Pilot"), but no such luck with the search. Here's the info i have: I've been told it was probably built between 1965-1967, and was in Long Beach CA for the time my grandfather (Frederick Singer) owned it. I know my dad used to race it as a teenager in the Wednesday night 'Burger Bash's" out of Long Beach Yacht Club. I know for sure that it was a wooden hull, but i don't know the hull #.

Any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated. I'm not sure where else to search, so if anyone has ideas for me, please email me.

Thank you!!!

Emily
