A drifter is nothing more than a huge genoa of very light cloth (.75oz) held by a set of 4 hanks on the headstay (head, tack and two more in between).

A mizzen staysail you'd have to experiment with. Take any kind of jib and hoist it "upside down". Rig (attach)the head onto your mainmast's base, it's tack hoisted up to your mizzen mast's top and it's clew with a sheet that passes through a block that's at your mizzen boom's end (when it's all let out...."broadreaching"). When you get the size right, then find your self a similar sized used sail in very light weight cloth as well.

You'll be flying in no time :-)

I had a mizzen staysail made for my M40. I can give you all the detailed info on how I built it. I had a small boom made for it too. It works very well. If you reply with your email address I can also send you some photos if interested.
