Thanks Ben, I would like to see pictures if you have them. I have never set in a cockpit unless it is a day sailer. By removing it, I can add the area to the fuel tank. I have already bought a taller mizzen to raise the boom. A guy in Florida offered me a new Edson hydraulic for my worm but, after talking to the Edson tech, I think I am going to keep the worm. I might have to install a longer rudder post to get it high enough. I really like the hull design of the Mariner and hope to make it more user friendly. thanks for the info.
