Subject: Recessed Line Chock

Has anyone ever found a source for the bronze recessed line chocks which came with the FEY Mariners?

Hey Gitano,

Do you mean the fairleads in the toe rail at the bow?

If so, try Davey and Co. I've seen them there. No idea if they're the right size, but they're the only ones I've ever found online.

You can't access their catalogue frome THEIR website (go figure!), but the guys at R+W Ropeworks have posted it. I've pasted the link below to the "hardware" part of the Davey and Co catalogue. Scroll to page 11. It's a PDF and it loads very ... very ... slowly. Part 1122, Part Name: "Handed (as in left handed and right handed) Sunken Fair Lead.

Hope that helps.

Yes, they have the type used on Choi Lee's, and are different the the Mariner recessed Line chocks. Good recource though - I may use that type instead (for Pot Luck).
