Trinidad seems to be the favorite in the yard.

One gallon only got me 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 coats though. I used a thinner nap roller than I'm use to and spread the paint as thin as I could. Just couldn't get it all twice.

On another note, here's a tactic I'm now really proud of.

In 2003 I applied 5 coats of GRAY barrier coat. Over that I layered one coat of RED bottom paint, and then I applied two coats of BLACK bottom paint over that.

Now, when removing layers (and the orbital sander burns through bottom paint quickly), I know to move on when I start seeing RED.
