Find the book "This Old Boat" by Don Casey and also read the Calder book on Electronics and Mechanics on a boat which has been referenced on this board before.

I just recently rebuilt the entire ice box with fiber-glass and 4" of so called 'blue board' all around. I would have preferred 6" but it made the cavity just a tad too small. Now I have about 2.7 cubic inches of space split between a freezer and fridge section.


As for other tips/tricks.. -- I can't think of any, but I _strongly_ recommend reading both Casey and Calder on the subject!!
