He did my bow sprit in pure teak-one piece. [400 bucks] It's a piece of furniture jutting out there. In your locale, how about oak and a spokeshave?

Do you still have the same plans of heading South? I'm attacking the rigging after the cockpit is done.

If you mean the Rendevous, yes. If you mean Mexico, yes. Lots of plans. But am still on the hard, so...

Guess I could do Oak for the sprit here. Still not sure why that's better. When you tell me you're doing the masts in teak, then I'll know you're over the edge. :)

Got the valves and through hulls off Murre yesterday. All seven of them. New go on the weekend. Gettin closer to floating every day.
