Randall, Have done lots of painting with Awlgrip, etc. I usually call the coat I put on 2 mil. Seems to work.

I've got a micrometer you can borrow, also a _____I can't remember the name of the tool, but it's a set of metal shims with measured thicknesses.

Thanks guys. Timing's got screwed up because of the weather any way. Was planning to have first coat of anti fouling on by yesterday, but the primer isn't drying as fast as I'd like, so project's getting pushed into the weekend, which means five coats is as convenient as four.
