I have a Hurth I thought it was standard ???

I believe it is a 2:1 ratio

I have a Borg Warner Velvet drive 1.91:1 ratio hooked to my Perkins 4-108 in a Fuji 35.

Borg Warner 72C was on Cherub. I paid less than 1000 dollars for a freshly rebuilt one. My ratio was 1:1, but your's will need to be less for the weight.

Almost any tranny will fit. What you need to do is ensure the bellhousing on the engine will mate with the tranny. Perhaps finding if the Thames pattern is the same as a BW?

Also, need to ensure the replacement tranny is cooled [oil] with the same type of plumbing as the Thames.
