Greetings. On my TM36, Kialua, the icebox drains into the sump; the pan beneath the fuel tank, water tank and holding tank beneath the sole. The shower drain also goes into the sump. Both are a lousy design because you get soap and food, etc, in the sump and it can smell. I have a sump pump separate from the bilge pump to empty this. If I could get to the icebox drain I would divert it through a small manual (tiptoe) pump into the galley sink so it could be pumped overboard.

I don't know if we have such a sump. It would probably explain my inability to trace the flow as per GeneMSs suggestion! We have a shower sump below the sole just ahead of the mast. It is evacuated overbord, by a seperate pump. I anticipate removing the shower sump this summer. It is metal and beginning to corrode. I will put something different in its place and hopefully make room for an additional fifteen gallons of fuel there too. It would be super to find the terminus of the ice box drain when I remove the shower sump. HA! Boats are great.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate your input.
