Not at Kappas. Murre is currently in a covered berth at San Rafael Yacht Harbor while I replace cockpit. Directions in the email.

I'll send the picture shortly. Remember, the traveler is not the focus of the shot, but about half of it is visible, and you can see the sheet and block rig. Notice the little bird in the upper left sitting on the jib sheet. That’s what I was aiming the camera at. It’s a young (probably female) Yellow Warbler (ain’t no sea bird), and I was about 30 miles offshore last year when the photo was taken. Very surprising to have such a visitor.

I've never had a boom vang. Actually no, I've got one of those rubber straps as well, but have never installed or used. Has always seemed to me to be "overkill" on such a short rig.

Your hull 95? What name?

Hey Randall,
We have actually met on the docks, and you probably know my girlfriend K. from the Saus. West Marine. I bought Margeret Lee, the M31's previous name, from D. and R.(on C dock), who have done much work over the last year, but were probably overwhelmed both with lack of proper knowhow, and lack of diection. I know the issues, and am now doing good work to bring her up to cruising status. D. and R. painted over her old name, so she remains un-named. I need to do a proper renaming cerimony at some point, even though I wasn't the one who painted over "Margeret Lee". I intend to enter her into the "owners" section of MOS when I get the time. I sold my turnkey Erikson '29 and bought another project, but we love her. Perhaps we could start a private dialogue? Your could reply to my email address, if you like. I am the one who chased you out of your old slip when I brought in the Pacemaker '39 cabin cruiser, in need of much work at the time, which I now live on with my girlfriend, dog Bu, and cat Oscar, at the end of A dock.
Cheers

I remember. As I recall, I wasn't much a fan of whacking my head on the flare of your bow every time I walked down the finger to my boat. :)

Sent you some emails.
