Hey Marcus,
Better be careful painting dockside. Years ago I was helping a friend paint her boat in Long Beach, California, and rules were not as strict on the water front. I had rigged up a side curtain to catch any debris from getting into the water. While deep into the project, I happened to lookup, and down the dock was coming a harbormaster officer, ticket book in hand. It was to late to run, so I looked over the side of the boat to see if there were any paint chips in the water. I was frantic as I looked overboard, and there in the SHADOW's of the boat was the most crystal clear salt water I've ever seen. The officer looked at me and I looked at him. Then looking around the water, he walked away shaking his head. Try the touch-up job that Randall suggested. Like he said, our older boats have character.
By the way, tell me how your Mariner cutter handles? Is it as balanced as it's (brethren) sister mariners?
Yours truly, Kathy Campbell
