Hi bill
thanks for the info but i did see the specs and they looked off so i climbed the mast yesterday and the 42ft if off.
the length of the forstay for a mariner 35 is 38ft 4 inches centre of pin to centre of pin

Derek,

the "I" dimensions on the website were off sailmakers' datas. 3.5 feet shorter is too much for any errors on their part.
I'll contact some of our M35 owners and see what comes up on *their* measuring tapes.
