Subject: somebody need a crew member?

Well.... folks here in the Arkansas Mountains say I've lost my mind. What landlubber in his right mind would purchase a 40 foot Ketch and plan on taking his family out to sea with so little experiance. Well I suppose that man would be me...what can I say...the boat mezmerized me with her curves... I really am doing my best though..I flew down to Fort Meyer, with my 10 year old, and took a week long off shore class and I have spent several months reading everthing I can get my hands on, but I'm still in need of experiance. I'm planning on taking the boat out in November , with the whole family, for two months and would take any chance offered to set sail beforehand on anyones boat for experiance ( I will work like a dog and pay my own way ) anyway If someone needs a crew member with more book knowledge than experience, I'm your man
