Subject: 50s Cars

 I saw my first American car when I was about 15 that would be 1959, it was owned by a garage owner who in his younger days was a motorcycle racer,he won the Isle Of Mann TT a few times,All I can remember is that to me then it looked like a space ship, I have loved 50s American cars ever since.
If you were given a choice which 50s car would you choose to own, and if you have already got one what is it.
If I was given the choice I would want one of each ( exept the Edsal) but i think that I would choose a Cadillac Eldorado 58 or 59 convertable in pink of course, There were so many fantastic looking cars in the 50s and some from the 40s also.
Do you think that if a car maker was to make a new car in the style of the 50s with big wings and lots of chrome that it would sell? It's already worked with the E-Type Jaguar.
