It's hard to believe that Eddie has been gone so long. I remember the day he died. I was staying with a friend in Highland, California. When I heard the news, I went outside and just started walking up the road and I broke down and cried. To me, Eddie was one of the greatest rockers ever. When I first heard him I was instantly a fan for life. Eddie Cochran forever! I am working on a book with a fellow from France about Eddie. I also want to say that my book on Buddy Holly/Ritchie Valens & the Big Bopper will be published at the end of the year.
