I don't think it would be a bad thing if the wreckage was donated to a museum or something like that. I'm not sure keeping it hidden is accoplishing anything at this point 50+ years later. I don't believe it would be disrespectful for it to be displayed. They have pieces of the Challenger and TWA 800 on display in DC.

Selling pieces of it or any of that nonsence would not be cool. I don't beleive Jerry Dwyer would do anything like that.
