 I was skeptical too, but it was listed as a different take.

A "dub" is a copy from an original acetate, or from an original tape recording.

I think the "You're The One" radio station acetate was only remembered and recovered some time after Buddy's passing. I had never before seen anything saying there were two different takes.

I think I made a good guess that the two copy acetates with 45 holes in the auction were made from the original (or a tape of the original) at the same time (or, that is, one after another on an acetate cutter) (possibly by Normal Petty) and sent to two different people, and both wound up with ME who sold them. The one Dick James had was probably for publishing and copyright purposes, the other as a courtesy to someone in Buddy's family.

I am only guessing about that.

The main point is there is only one version of the song, as Ian confirms absolutely.
