 If anyone is inclined to use Ancestry.com, please use caution. The folks that run the site have been known to bill people for an entire year's subscription when they only want to use the service for only a month.

They also provide a lot of useless dead end information that keep folks searching, and spending money, but having little or nothing to show for their efforts.

When one attempts to cancel the service, this can be done, but with great difficulty.

Hopefully, your experience(s) will be better.
