Subject: Collecting Buddy Holly

 With the advent of e-bay, establishing a nice Buddy Holly collection has never been easier. However, I'm just old enough to remember the heady days of collecting all things Holly pre-internet/e-bay. My question is, which do all of you old-time fans prefer? The instant click of a button that allows you to purchase that elusive Buddy bootleg album or rare tour program, or that thrill of the hunt that actually comes with scouring the out of the way record shops and receiving responses to an ad generated from a specialty magazine which you had to place to find that special photograph or fanzine? I can see the benefits of both, but I suppose the romantic in me loves the actual "field work" in aquiring certain collectibles. For me, it seems to make the aquisition a little more meaningful...
