 Those two songs weren't released back then on 45 here in the U.S., just on the Chirpin' Crickets LP as you've said, Chuck.
As much as I like Roy, I much prefer Buddy's version of An Empty Cup. He somehow mixed a country song, lyrically speaking, with his incredible rock & roll guitar. Pure genius? You bet! Let's not forget the Picks' outstanding backing vocals, either. Letter perfect!
