I agree that Bobby Fuller's death was not a "suicide", and I find it astonishing that after all of these years this case has remained, effectively, cold.
As far as Sam Cooke's death is concerned, I don't believe the "official" version of this tragedy. I think it more likely that Sam was the victim of a con perpetrated by Lisa Boyer, the woman that Sam apparently kidnapped and attempted to rape (None of which I believe for even a moment). Daniel Wolff, in his marvelous biography on Cooke, "You Send Me", makes a good case that Boyer was a prostitute who was known to be a professional roller, and that all of this played a huge roll in Sam's death.
