 I agree Frank, he wasnt a 'rocker' but he was of 'the time' and gave a lot of young kids a bit of a start on the guitar that wasnt really available anywhere else... I have vague memories of him on kids TV shows doing demos of simple guitar chords/licks.... as someone said recently...'everyone else move on with their guitar, but Bert !!...sad to see he has gone, and pleased he reached a good age at 90 odd.
