Hi guys, allow me to add a hearty hear hear! to those comments.

Overdubbing ANY classic pop that has become part of the fabric of pop culture is really just a waste of time.

I honestly can't figure out who the target market is for this, and just what it is they think they are improving.

After all, Buddy's ballads are already accessible and sweet enough for kids and the elderly alike.

Why soak them in sickly sweet syrup?

I have heard the argument many times that "you shouldn't complain, after all if you don't like it, you have the option of listening to the originals".

The problem with that is the young, first time listener who does not know better.

As with the vandalism done by the Picks (which we are stuck with forever), there will inevitably be young fans, just beginning their pop music odyssey, who will hear these sugar coated stink bombs
and wonder why Buddy is so influential and timeless.

It proves for the umpteenth time: MEH will approve anything
that might pay a few bucks, integrity and legacy seems irrelevant.
