Thank you for your kind words Rick but I just try to tell the stories I know to be factual and not full of innuendos and suppositions.

By the way, next to Hank Williams and Bob Wills, Del is my favourite singer/songwriter. The Crickets follow.

Hank was a genius in my world.

Did you know that in the mid to late eighties both Del and Roy Orbison were lucky to draw crowds of 250 people at their smaller venue concerts in their own country?

However, in Europe and Australia and New Zealand they always played to sold out concerts of up to 5,000.

My favourite song of Del was 'For A Little While'. It got lost in the British invasion which doesn't mean it was a bad song.
