 Hi Dan,

Alan is well regarded in the Buddy Holly community as someone who really does his homework. A project like the one he has undertaken (much like Sevan and Jim's documentary and my own Dance Party history)takes time. I'd rather have a delayed masterpiece than a rushed, badly researched book (Ellis Amburn, anyone? No? Didn't think so...). His research is something that I will patiently wait for and look forward to putting on my poor, sagging bookshelf.
