 I was watching a documentary about the final 24 hours of Who drummer Keith Moon, who died on Sept.7, 1978. Seems he was invited to a party thrown by Paul McCartney at which the newly released film "The Buddy Holly Story" was to be shown. Moon's girlfriend said that halfway through the movie, Moon says "Let's get out of here. I can't watch this". They go home & later that day, he dies. How could anyone walk out on 'The Buddy Holly Story"? I guess the charitable explanation is Moon knew how it was going to end & couldn't bear to watch it. On the other hand, Moon was a "Mod" & maybe couldn't dig a "Rocker" like Buddy!
