Chas, the problem is that I get woken up every morning when my wife starts her Harley up and I lie there worrying about the apples.

Molly, I was thinking that Magritte had a modus operandi when all the time it was an opus operandi. No wonder he challenges our perception of reality. Pokes, super pokes, beer and barbecues - these are all in the same category. I hope to be barbecuing this afternoon but apples don't work, even if you wrap them in foil. Unless they are hiding something else......... The apple on Magritte's nose is hiding his boxed set of 'The Best of the Five Satins'.

The link that connects Link Wray, the Beatles and Jean-Paul-George-Ringo Sartre - does this go through to Francoise Hardy? Her and Ronnie Bennett were my favourite 60s girls so this thread now runs through to Phil Spector. What can this mean?

How many rock and roll songs ever had 'apple' in the title? If only I could think of one.
