If we're going to spend the rest of our lives, probing into the personal lives of Musicians, or whatever, we are depriving ourselves the pleasure of enjoying their creative gifts.

I can see what George Harrison meant, when he proclaimed, back in 1964, "I never asked to be famous. I only wanted to be successful".

Why do some people care about what well known people do, in their personal lives?
