 though he may not be in the same crooning league as johnny mathis, or jerry charles, buddy handled "that's my desire" and "early in the morning" so well, that he probably could have given bing a good go. "let's play house" even has some of that "ba-ba-ba" stuff at the beginning, that bing is often associated with. elvis made no bones about his love of bing, dean, and harry mills.
