 I couldn't play the clip on that site because realplayer seemed to want to make a change to my PC, but I've never heard much similarity between Louis Armstrong's 1925 song Gutbucket Blues and My Bucket's Got A Hole In It.

The person credited most often as writer of My Bucket's Got A Hole In It seems to be CLARENCE Williams. I haven't seen it credited to Hank except as the first to record it. I don't know if Clarence took credit for a traditional song. I didn't see Buddy Bolden listed as writer, but he did play it long before Hank recorded it.
