So the Beatles hooked Elvis on drugs?

I suppose it is possible that some rockabilly artists from small towns may not have had the same exposure to drugs that existed in the big cities in the '50s, but I assume that once they hit the big time, the temptation was there. Drugs and alcohol were always around. That's why we had drug stores selling booze during prohibition. Sex, drugs, and rock & roll.
