 If we've read Mike's posts over the years, we know he's a man of strong opinions. I was bothered by his was somewhat disparaging remarks. Opinions are like navels, everybody has one, but not everyone reveals theirs.

It's hard to determine one central figure in the history of Rock 'n' Roll. There were so many who were involved. If someone likes Buddy's music, that's nice, if they don't, it's their right to have their personal choice.

I thought this forum was supposed to be fun. I know I've climbed on top of my soapbox from time to time. But as I've gotten older, I take myself less seriously.

When I visit this board, I want to read positive remarks about the music of the 1950s. I can do with fewer complaints concerning negative personal opinions.

Let's try to enjoy life and be less cynical.
