Personally, I hold dear my memory of seeing Buddy perform in 1957, when I was like *5* and Niki was still with the Crickets and I've enjoyed following Buddy's trajectory through outer space all these years later. I didn't think it was possible for him to get larger than life and become the legend is currently is. I'm not an anthropologist. heh

I went to Lubbock numerous times over the years when Bill Griggs had his Memorial Society gatherings and we eventually connected up with each other "on-line," once the Internet was established. We remain loyal followers of the work of Randy Steele and Sharon Griggs, but there are FaceBook groups you can join for, perhaps, faster connections and quicker changes of scene if that's what you're looking for. But I always come back here to read the serious input from long-time fans...
