First of all, Link Wray was not a one hit wonder. He and The Raymen also charted with "Rawhide" (1959) and "Jack The Ripper" (1963-quite big here on the West Coast).
He was definitely not The Singing Nun or Anton Karas.
Secondly it is curious why that term "one hit wonder" is such a pejorative. There are many recording acts who scored several regional hits but no big national hits and they are not regarded negatively the way "one hit wonders" are. I wonder why.
