Bill's work didn't disappear, as lots of fans own his publications and some of his booklets are still for sale at the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock.

Regarding Bill Griggs being disappointed in Rockin50s ending, most fans hated seeing the end. But, apparently some fans don’t know or may have forgotten that it was Bill Griggs that ended publication, sometime before his death in 2011. His last Rockin50s interview was planned out well in advance. On the final cover, Bill was hoping to use an unpublished photo of a teenage Buddy Holly, riding on a horse bareback. Unfortunately,a deal couldn’t be reach to make it happen and the photo has disappeared.

On a related note, Bill left almost 100 CASES of unsold booklets. A deal was struck with the wonderful people at the Buddy Holly Center to sell them off, and they have done a great job of doing so. Sharon and I made the decision that out of respect to the BHC and their inventory, nothing will be published again until the BHC inventory is near depletion or is gone. When that happens, we will have much discussion once again about reprinting some or all of Bill's publications.

I have my fingers crossed that it will happen.

Stay safe everyone.
