Unfortunately, Gary W. Moore's intentions are not as pure as they may seem. He has harrassed the Dwyers relentlessly over the past couple of years, trying to make them "reveal" the wreckage. The Dwyers have the wreckage hidden to avoid exploitation, which is exactly what Moore is looking to do. What people need to realize, especially Gary Moore, is that the Dwyers don't owe anyone anything. They wish to be left alone regarding the wreckage, and they have made that clear to Gary Moore, yet he continues to pursue them and disrespect their requests to leave them alone. Because of his high profile books in publication, and in this case his book "Hey Buddy", Gary is considered an "expert" on this subject by the mainstream media. But even he admits to not having known anything about Buddy Holly at the time he wrote this book. He comes off as being very phony and naive throughout it, and Don McLean tells him so in the book. If Gary thinks he's the first person to approach the Dwyers asking about the wreckage, then he's that much more naive.
