 I was channel surfing over the weekend and found a movie I had seen before and liked. "Almost Famous" is a movie about the rock scene of the 70's. It was better than I remembered. While not being an expert about behind the scenes 70's rock, it felt true to me.

So why should this appear on the Rockin' 50's buletin board? Check out the clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKgS24IG3HY . The band is flying on a smallish plane when it is hit by lightning. Russell, the guitar player cracks wise, then the real fear starts.
